Have you ever wondered how far a bird can fly? Join local Parks and Wildlife Service staff to learn about shorebirds and their behaviour from the residents to migrant species that fly into Tasmania’s shoreline from nearby islands and far-flung locations all over the world. Learn how to help look after and protect our threatened shorebirds on the beaches here at Fortescue Bay and back home. Meet at the Day Use Area shelter. Please note a parent/guardian must be in attendance for this activity. Parks Pass required.
