An afternoon for unwinding, re-creating and experimenting, using natural materials and simple techniques. Following an inspirational slide show to tap into the limitless potential of the circle as form, participants will be invited to choose materials to shape, sculpt and arrange materials into beautiful circular art works.
Facilitated by Katree Wilson, a Tasmanian-based designer and artist. Her work frequently integrates natural materials and upcycling techniques, bringing a raw, sculptural quality direct from nature to construct bespoke creations, often incorporating bone, feathers, native botanicals, driftwood and hand-crafted papers and textiles.
