A Natural Escape is a three-week celebration of nature, creativity and community.
If you haven't visited the Tasman Region before but it's been on your bucket list, now is the perfect time to plan your trip.
A Natural Escape is supported by the Tasmanian Government through Events Tasmania.

Where To Stay
Accommodation ranges from simple shacks in the bush to glamping, self-contained cabins, hotels, motels or lodges to spectacular properties with stunning coastal views. You can pitch a tent at Lime Bay or Fortescue Bay (National Parks charges apply) or book into local caravan parks. There are accommodation options to suits all tastes and budgets in the Tasman Region.
Where To Eat And Drink
Let your stomach be your guide to the region with an array of options to suit every taste.
Eaglehawk Neck - You could try morning coffee at Cubed Espresso Bar, or call into the Lufra Beachside Hotel for dinner and drinks before or after a beach walk. The Doolishus food van at the Blowhole is a great place to stop for seafood or an icecream.
Dunalley – Bangor Vineyard Shed features award winning wines and delicious local food.
Murdunna – Not just a stop for petrol and groceries, the Murdunna Roadhouse also has takeaway food.
Nubeena - Lucky Ducks in Nubeena is a local favourite, great pies! The Nubeena Cafe is open 7 days a week with the best fish burgers and more. Diggers Kitchen at the Nubeena Ex-Services Club serve classic Australian pub meals.
Port Arthur – The Port Arthur Lavender Farm is open daily for hot drinks and great lunches. For finer dining book into On the Bay Restaurant, nestled within Stewarts Bay Lodge. A casual lunch is also available at Eucalypt Café or for fabulous fish and chips grab takeaway from Port Arthur General Store. The Port Arthur Motor Inn restaurant has good food and magnificent views over the historic site, while the Fox & Hounds has an English Tudor pub vibe. The Port Arthur Historic Site also has a cafe. Early Friday night dinners from 5pm-7pm are also available at the Tasman Golf Club.
Premaydena – At Premaydena Hill enjoy premium cool-climate wines and lunch with rural and water views.
Radnor - Get off the beaten track to visit McHenry Distillery for tastings and cellar door sales.
Saltwater River – The Cottage Garden Café serves tea and cake in their rose garden.
Taranna – Delicious locally caught fish features on the menu at Little Norfolk Bay Bistro. Or if you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry.
White Beach – The Pickers Pantry is perfect for coffee, lunch and delicious sweets while sitting in the pear orchard.
